The Inaugural "Winter Weavers'" Ultra.
The Weavers' Way race is back for 2026, as a Winter challenge but still with a great finish at Cromer Pier!

Eight runners successfully completed the Boghopper Grand Slam in 2025.
Bryony, Danny, Oli, Alistair, Mandy, Heather, Karen and Andrew. They all completed Marriott's Way Marathon, one of the Boudicca 50 km and Weavers' Way 50 mile race in 2025 and were awarded the coveted Boghopper Grand Slam Tankard. Are you ready to take on the challenge in 2026?

We both live near Norwich and are long term members of Tri-anglia Triathlon Club. We have competed in all distances of triathlon but if we are both honest, we are runners at heart.
We started training together in 2018 and since then have completed more than 70 ultras combined including 200, miles, 100milers and Race Across Scotland. We love the ultra scene, it is totally different from triathlon and can be both beautiful and brutal at the same time.
We are Janice and Kevin, we look forward meeting you and sharing the trails.

We are blessed with some of the most unspoilt countryside anywhere in the UK and as such are well endowed with numerous trails. Our inaugural race was on the Weavers' Way in Oct 2023, which started in Acle, a small town East of Norwich. The trail runs in a northerly direction to end at the coastal town of Cromer with its victorian Pier. This has now been held three times.
Our second race was In July 2024, a 50km on the Boudicca Way from Diss to Norwich. An exceptionally fast course on a scorchingly hot day. This was also held in July 2025 and is scheduled again for Sept 2026.

Ultrarunning is a fantastic sport. It takes a lot of character to finish an event of this length but the feeling of satisfaction afterwards is second to none. We are both finishers rather than podium athletes and have experienced the stress of being close to cut offs. This is often something that puts people off and our aim is to host races that have less pressure and achievable cut offs. We also allow spectator support along the course.
By having a relaxed race atmosphere we aim to encourage first timers, to believe that they can achieve the seemingly unachievable. Come and run your first ever ultra, with us.
