Volunteers are our lifeblood
Without volunteers our races just couldn't happen.
Our sole aim at Boghopper Races is to put on the kind of races that we would like to run in ourselves.
Having run 60 or so ultras between us we know what makes a great race. A well marked route, good pre and post race communication, good feedstations with a decent variety of food but above all friendly marshals that look after you when you are tired and emotional, who cheer you on and cheer you up and keep you going until you get to the finish line, and then when you've finished cope with your disorientated muddled brain, feed you, and repatriate you with your support crew.
Those are the attributes of a good marshal and we have been blessed with some of the best in the business.
