Race Registration is at Holton Vilage Hall, Lodge Road, Holton, IP19 8RZ
Regsitration and start is a mile walk from Halesworth Railway station; there is also ample parking at the hall.
There is plenty of time to get the train from Oulton, Broad as we will time the race start for 0930.

The Route:
The race runs across the marshes to Blythburgh past the mighty impressive Blythburgh Cathedral. It then joins the Sandlings Walk to Walberswick, where the 50km route branches off towards Dunwich before returning to the same route as the marathon at Southwold.
Both routes cross the river Blyth to Southwold, through Southwold and join the Suffolk Coast Path all the way to Lowestoft. At Pakefield, the 50km route branches off again and continues along the beach to join the Via Beata to the North of East Point Marina whilst the Marathon takes a more direct route to the finish at Nicholas Everitt Park, overlooking Oulton Broad. 8 hours for the marathon
10 hours for the 50km ultramarathon

This is a short walk from both Oulton Broad North and Oulton Broad South stations. There are a variety of parking options as well with both pay and display and some free on road parking available locally.
There are train options from both Lowestoft and Norwich. The start is times so runners can make use of the train option.

The Route:
From the start at Nicholas Everitt Park you will joins The Angles Way to Beccles along Carlton Marshes, (this is also part of the Via Beata so look out for the religious waystation at Ringsfield). It then heads south on the East Suffolk Lines Walk to Holton where it joins the same route as the Marathon for the rest of the route (Blythburgh Marshes, Sandlings Walk, Suffolk Coast Path) finishing back at the start.
